    Overview

    SOAS University of London invites applications for a fully funded MPhil/PhD studentship for the 2026/27 academic year as part of the research project "Pan-African Frontiers: Reparative Futures and the Reimagining of Global Order".

    Eligibility

    This scholarship is open to Home and Overseas applicants. You must:

    • Apply for a new MPhil/PhD programme (2026/27 entry)
    • Hold (or expect) a Master’s degree with merit or distinction (or international equivalent)
    • Meet English language requirements (e.g., IELTS, if applicable)

    Benefits

    • Full tuition fees + maintenance stipend
    • Minimum Stipend: £20,622 (2026/27)
    • Duration: 3 years (full-time)
    • Access to doctoral training and teaching experience
