    Overview

    This position offers the opportunity to oversee and support MSI Ladies (MSLs) in delivering high-quality reproductive health services as an MS Ladies Supervisor in Kano.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Train and supervise healthcare providers (Nurses, Midwives, CHEWs).
    • Ensure high standards in clinical service delivery and client safety.
    • Support data collection, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
    • Strengthen providers’ business management and financial skills.
    • Manage supply of commodities and clinical equipment.
    • Lead community engagement and demand creation activities.
    • Build partnerships with stakeholders and health institutions.
    • Ensure compliance with MSI clinical governance standards.

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse/Midwife or related Medical Sciences qualification.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
    • Strong background in community health and family planning services.
    • Experience in training and supervising healthcare providers.
    • Technical expertise in long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs).
    • Knowledge of donor-funded programs (e.g., USAID, DFID) is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and data reporting tools.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned locations, especially in Kano.
