Overview

The Nigerian National Committee for the United World Colleges (UWC) is offering a limited number of need-based scholarships and fee-paying places for entry in September 2022. The program prepares students for a two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Certificate.

Requirements

• Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding academic ability and obtained the Senior School Certificate SSC / GCE O’ Levels or their recognized equivalent.
• Exceptional students in SS3 may also apply based on their 2 years continuous assessment.
• Candidates must be between 16 and 17 years old (birth certificate required).
• Candidates must submit an essay and Principal’s recommendation.

Benefits

Some scholarship awards may partially cover the cost of tuition and accommodation. Parents/Guardians may be required to cover flight tickets, pocket money, health insurance, and clothing.

How to Apply

An application fee of N10,000.00 (or N1,000.00 for public school nominees) is payable. Payment can be made via Bank Draft to the Nigerian National Committee for the United World Colleges or through the Flutterwave Payment Gateway on the website. Application forms can be downloaded from the website or purchased/submitted at designated centers in Abuja or Port Harcourt.
