Overview

The NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme aims to promote academic excellence by providing a yearly grant to successful Nigerian undergraduate students from their second year to the completion of their degree.

Eligibility

• Must be a Nigerian citizen.
• Currently in the second year of full-time study at a Nigerian Federal or State University, accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
• Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-grade system.
• Must not be a beneficiary of any other national or international scholarship.
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Yearly grant for successful applicants from their second year to the completion of their undergraduate degree programme.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Scholastica platform. Ensure you have a valid personal email account and phone number. You will need to create an account, activate it via email, and then log in to upload your information and required documents.

Required documents include:

• Recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG, not more than 200kb).
• University or JAMB Admission Letter.
• Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result.
• O' Level Result(s) and/or A' Level/OND/NCE Result(s) as applicable.
• Letter of Identification from State of Origin.
• Academic results for 100 level for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Follow these steps:

1. Click on the 'Apply Now' tab on the scholarship portal.
2. Register to create an account and activate it via email.
3. Return to the scholarship site and log in with your registered email and password.
4. Enter personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational details, and upload scanned documents. Ensure names match across all documentation.
5. Upload a passport photograph with a white background.
6. Review all application information for accuracy.
7. Submit your application. You will receive a confirmation email and SMS.
8. Download your profile from the Scholastica portal and have it signed by your Head of Department.
9. Upload the signed profile for verification.
10. If you do not have a National Identification Number (NIN), register at http://ninenrol.gov.ng/ or visit a NIMC office to obtain one.
11. Update your application on the scholarship portal with your NIN to ensure completion.

Note:

• Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
• This application is FREE. Beware of fraudulent websites asking for payment.
• E-mail applications are not accepted.
