Overview
The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) offers grant funding to commercial enterprises for developing renewable energy projects in developing countries. - Demonstrate the ability to finance at least 50 percent of project costs.
- Show capacity to fund activities before reimbursement.
- Maintain strong governance frameworks, including risk management systems and anti-corruption policies.
- Projects must be implemented in developing countries eligible for Norwegian development assistance, with a priority on Sub-Saharan Africa and Least Developed Countries.
- Entities such as NGOs, consulting companies without project ownership, and equipment suppliers are generally not eligible to apply directly.

How to Apply
