Overview

The Pan African University (PAU) is an initiative of the African Union offering Masters and PhD degree programs with full scholarships to qualified African applicants and those in the diaspora. The university aims to provide quality postgraduate education focused on Africa's development.

Eligibility

Applicants should be young, qualified, talented, and enterprising individuals from African countries and the African Diaspora. Specific admission requirements apply to Master's and Doctoral programs, including undergraduate or Master's degrees with a minimum grade, relevant certificates, transcripts, recommendation letters, passport photos, and age limits (30/35 for Master's, 35/40 for PhD male/female). Proficiency in at least two AU official languages is required for Translation/Interpreting programs.

Benefits

Full scholarships covering tuition and living expenses are provided. Medical insurance is also covered. Successful candidates must undertake to serve an AU Member State for a period equal to the scholarship duration after graduation.
