    Overview

    The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) is offering a 10-week full-time legislative internship program for young Nigerians to gain knowledge of legislative practice and process at the National Assembly.

    Eligibility

    • Nigerian citizen between 21 and 35 years of age
    • At least a first degree in any discipline from a Tertiary Institution
    • Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme
    • Good English writing and speaking skills
    • Good computer skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    Duration of Internship

    May 2026 – July 2026

    Benefits

    Stipends to cover transportation and lunch costs within Abuja will be provided. However, other logistics expenses, including accommodation, will be the responsibility of the interns.

    • Include a “Statement of Purpose” on the last page of your CV, explaining your motivation for participating in the internship. Your CV and statement combined should not exceed three pages.
