    Overview

    The GSK Africa Open Lab Postgraduate Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity aimed at early-career African scientists seeking to build expertise in biostatistics and health data science.

    Eligibility

    • National and resident of a Sub-Saharan African country
    • Hold a BSc degree (minimum second class upper or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
    • Possess an MSc degree (GPA ≥ 3.2 or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Health Data Science, or a related discipline
    • Have at least one year of relevant work experience
    • Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as R, Stata, or SAS (or willingness to improve)
    • Show strong English language proficiency
    • Applicants with a PhD are also encouraged to apply.
