🎯 Role Summary

This is a senior-level humanitarian role responsible for leading IRC’s protection programmes in Nigeria, focusing on:

• 👶 Child Protection (CP)
• 👩 Women’s Protection & Empowerment (WPE)
• ⚖️ Protection & Rule of Law (PRoL)

👉 You’ll shape strategy, manage teams, and ensure high-quality protection services for vulnerable populations.

🧭 Strategy & Leadership

• Lead protection strategy and programme design
• Develop proposals and grow funding opportunities
• Align programs with IRC global strategy

📊 Programme Management

• Ensure quality, impact, and compliance
• Monitor budgets and project performance
• Lead risk analysis and protection assessments

🤝 Coordination & Integration

• Work across sectors:
  • Health

👥 Team Management

🎓 Requirements

• Master’s Degree in:
  • Social Work

  • International Law

• 🧠 5–7 years experience in at least 2 areas:
  • Child Protection
  • Women’s Protection
  • Rule of Law

  • Team leadership
  • Proposal writing & fundraising
