The Federal College of Education, Jama’are is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Provost, Bursar, and College Librarian to contribute to the academic, administrative, and financial leadership of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provost: Chief Executive and Administrative Officer responsible for overall management and academic leadership.
• Bursar: Chief Financial Officer managing financial affairs and advising on financial matters.
• College Librarian: Oversees the College library and coordinates library services, implements policies, and prepares budgets.

Requirements

• Provost: Doctorate in a relevant field, teaching qualification, 15 years post-qualification experience, and must be Chief Lecturer.
• Bursar: Good honours degree in Accountancy with relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years experience.
• College Librarian: Good honours degree with Master in Library Science and 18 years experience or Ph.D. with 12 years experience.

All candidates must not be above 59 years of age and submit a two-page vision statement for the College.

Benefits

Appointments are for a single term of five years with privileges and benefits of principal officers of Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
