Overview
The Psychosocial / Case Management Officer provides direct psychosocial support and case management services, ensuring quality assurance and technical supervision to local partner teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of partner PSS and CM Assistants and ensure quality implementation of PSS and case management activities.
- Deliver structured PSS sessions for adolescents and adults.
- Identify and refer child protection cases to specialized actors.
- Provide individual lay counselling to persons experiencing psychosocial distress.
- Lead on complex case management and manage Cash‑for‑Protection/IPA processes.
- Conduct community sensitization and support integrated programming across different sectors.
- Maintain updated service mapping and referral pathways.
- Conduct monitoring of activities and ensure quality compliance with DRC standards.
Requirements
- University Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in psychosocial support or protection programming may substitute for degree.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; locally spoken languages are a plus.
