Overview
The SDSN Youth Regional Focal Point (RFP) for Asia-Pacific (APAC) is a highly impactful global leadership opportunity designed for passionate young leaders committed to advancing sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between SDSN Youth and regional networks
- Support National Coordinators in project management and strategic planning
- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across countries
- Track and evaluate activities within regional networks
- Ensure alignment with SDGs and SDSN Youth objectives
- Report regional progress to global leadership teams
- Organize monthly calls with National Coordinators
- Participate in global and regional meetings
- Maintain consistent communication across time zones
- Identify growth opportunities within the region
- Support recruitment of new National Coordinators
- Promote SDSN Youth initiatives to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old
- Must be based in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region
- Experience in youth leadership, student organizations, or volunteer work
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment
