The Bridgforte Centre for Global Impact has opened applications for its highly competitive Summer 2026 Research Fellowship. This remote fellowship opportunity is designed for advanced master’s students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers interested in financial systems, governance, and financial inclusion across Africa.

Applicants should demonstrate knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:

Financial policy and regulation
Banking and financial services
Fintech and digital payments
Financial inclusion
Development finance
Public policy
Governance and institutions

Benefits

A monthly stipend of USD $1,500
Fellowship duration: 15 June 2026 to 30 August 2026
Opportunity for continued engagement beyond the fellowship period
Participation in selected Bridgforte convenings and discussions
