Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research on global health and development topics
- Build simplified models to estimate cost-effectiveness and social returns
- Interview experts, stakeholders, and potential grantees
- Synthesize findings into clear recommendations for leadership
- Recommend specific grants and manage exploratory funding (Role-Dependent)
- Evaluate academic research and evidence bases (Role-Dependent)
- Develop internal methodologies for impact assessment (Role-Dependent)
- Support program teams with strategic research insights (Role-Dependent)
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent academic experience)
- Backgrounds in policy, consulting, academia, or global health
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to work with limited data and make reasoned estimates
- Pragmatism and focus on decision-relevant questions
- Clear and concise written communication
- Strong reasoning transparency and intellectual honesty
- Ability to engage effectively with experts and stakeholders
