    Overview

    This opportunity offers research grants to university researchers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to examine the ethical use of technology in humanitarian action.

    Eligibility

    Applicants must be affiliated with accredited universities in eligible low- and middle-income countries. Eligible applicants include:

    • PhD candidates
    • Postdoctoral researchers

    Research projects must focus on LMICs and align with one of the program's designated research themes.

    Benefits

    Each successful applicant will receive US$10,000 to conduct original research over an eight-month period, from November 1, 2026, with final reports due by June 30, 2027.
