    Key Responsibilities

    • Help set strategic direction and purpose for the charity.
    • Ensure legal, financial, and governance compliance.
    • Support senior staff and connect Rosa to broader networks.
    • Champion causes that improve women’s lives across the UK.
    • Participate in quarterly board meetings and sub-committee work.
    • Act as ambassadors for Rosa in professional and community networks.
    • Offer guidance on fundraising, communications, financial oversight, or programme evaluation.
    • Uphold values of integrity, independence, and accountability.
    • Support a transparent and inclusive board culture.

    Requirements

    • Share a commitment to women and girls’ equality.
    • Skills in grant-making, fundraising, communications, financial governance, or strategy.
    • Potential experience in the private sector or governance knowledge.
    • Ability to contribute to an inclusive and diverse board, especially individuals from underrepresented backgrounds.
    • No previous Trustee experience is required.
    • Must be UK-based.
