Senior Network Engineer @Quantum Health

Overview

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on Arista switching, spine-leaf architecture, and Palo Alto firewalls. This position allows for hybrid flexibility or remote work within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support enterprise switching environments using Arista EOS.
• Enhance spine-leaf data center architecture and manage network infrastructure using Arista CloudVision.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex networking issues and configure Palo Alto firewalls.
• Review and optimize firewall rules and support routing protocols.
• Assist with network segmentation, migrations, and connectivity projects.
• Provide escalation support for network incidents and develop network standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and identify opportunities to improve network operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise firewall and data center network environments.
• Familiarity with network automation tools and monitoring platforms is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSE, Arista ACE, or CCNP preferred.
