Overview

A leading Nigerian non-governmental organization is seeking a Public Health professional for a Senior Program Manager position in Abuja. This role involves leading the strategic implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of community-based health interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of state annual work plans, budgets, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
• Conduct regular supervision visits to local government areas to assess programme progress, monitor implementation quality, and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure effective delivery of health initiatives across targeted locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Biological Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs within the health sector.
• Strong knowledge of donor requirements and reporting standards.
• Proven experience in public health programming, program management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with international donors such as FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Global Fund is an advantage.
