The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) is offering five full-time internship opportunities based in Stockholm from mid-July/August to mid-December 2026. These internships are ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in international peace, security, and development.

Key Responsibilities

Support the promotion and dissemination of research outputs, publications, and events in the Communications Team.
Assist with high-level meetings and engagements in the Director’s Office.
Contribute to event planning and logistics for the annual Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development.
Provide administrative, operational, and logistical support across all roles.

Requirements

Enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant academic programme (e.g., international relations, political science).
Strong interest in global peace, conflict, and development issues.
Experience in coordination or event planning.
Fluency in English (knowledge of Swedish is an advantage).
Organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
