Overview

The Swedish Institute is offering a unique international career development opportunity through its 2026 traineeship programme at Swedish companies abroad.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold citizenship in one of the eligible countries, which include:

• Armenia
• Azerbaijan
• Bangladesh
• Brazil
• Egypt
• Indonesia
• Jordan
• Kenya
• Kosovo
• Mexico
• Mozambique
• Nigeria
• Rwanda
• South Africa
• Vietnam

The traineeship is open to:

1. Current international master’s students in Sweden
   • Must be completing their degree by summer 2026
   • Must graduate on time
2. Former international students in Sweden
   • Must have completed a master’s degree in Sweden
   • Must have graduated in 2023 or later

Applicants must also be able to commit to a full-time traineeship for up to six months and demonstrate strong alignment between their academic background and the traineeship role.
