This fellowship offers young writers, researchers, journalists, and visual storytellers across India the opportunity to explore and examine the financial forces shaping the country’s urban landscape.
The fellowship particularly encourages applications from women, Dalit communities, Muslim communities, other disadvantaged groups, and regional language writers and researchers.
The fellowship will begin in August 2026 and run for two months.
Applicants are required to submit their applications through the official online application form, which should include a research proposal or story idea outlining the tentative title, research focus, key questions to be explored, and the proposed storytelling approach.
The application deadline is 25 July 2026.
