Social and Behavioral Change Communication Consultant @Malaria Consortium

Overview

Malaria Consortium is seeking a Social and Behavioral Change Communication Consultant to assist in the planning and implementation of the 2026 Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) campaign in select states of Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of demand creation materials and advocacy plans.
• Facilitate state-level training of trainers.
• Provide technical assistance and oversight on SMC activities.
• Monitor media engagement and community mobilization activities.
• Prepare reports on SMC campaign activities and submit to State Program Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of First Degree in Social Sciences or related fields with at least 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of malaria prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Experience in field campaigns related to SMC or similar initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, training, and technical writing skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
