    Overview

    The Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University is offering its Summer 2026 Internship Program for undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career scholars to contribute to research on technology, policy, and society.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support research, analysis, and project coordination within AI initiatives (technical or non-technical tracks).
    • Work alongside researchers, faculty, and project teams.
    • Contribute to digital policy and technology-related initiatives.
    • Participate in cohort events and collaborative learning sessions.

    Requirements

    • Must be an undergraduate student, graduate student, or early-career scholar.
    • Must reside in and work from an eligible U.S. state (Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington State) during the internship.
    • Must possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
    • Must have reliable internet access and a personal computer.
    • Must be available for the full internship duration (early June to mid-August 2026).

    Benefits

    Hourly Compensation: $21 per hour. No additional benefits are provided.

    Hybrid (Cambridge, Massachusetts and remote work)
