    Overview

    The Summer School on Managing Africa’s Extractive Future 2026 is an immersive training program taking place from 18 August to 28 August 2026 in Accra, Ghana. The program aims to strengthen governance in the extractive and energy sectors across Anglophone Africa.

    Eligibility

    • Citizen of an Anglophone African country
    • Role in an institution working in extractives, energy, governance, media, academia, parliament, or related sectors
    • At least three years of relevant professional experience
    • Strong interest in natural resource governance and energy transition issues
    • Availability to participate fully in the entire program
    • Strong written and spoken English skills
