    Overview

    The Summer School on Managing Africa’s Extractive Future in the Energy Transition is a training opportunity aimed at equipping professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to shape Africa’s resource future.

    Eligibility

    • Civil society organization (CSO) representatives
    • Government officials and policymakers
    • Journalists and media professionals
    • Academics and researchers
    • Legal and regulatory practitioners

    Applicants must:

    • Be citizens of an Anglophone African country
    • Have at least three years of relevant professional experience
    • Work in fields related to energy, extractives, governance, law, finance, or development policy
    • Demonstrate strong interest in natural resource governance and energy transition
    • Be proficient in English

    Benefits

    The total cost of the program is USD 2,500, which includes tuition, accommodation, meals, local transportation, and program-related logistics. Scholarships are available competitively based on application strength.
