Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, disease surveillance, and rapid response in public health through the Global Health Security (GHS) portfolio under the EpiC project.

Key Responsibilities

Support contact tracing, active case search, and tracking of emerging infectious diseases.
Work closely with State Epidemiologists and Disease Surveillance Notification Officers to ensure functional and responsive surveillance systems.
Contribute to strengthening health security pillars, including laboratory systems and outbreak response.
Provide training, coordination, and technical support across government and partner institutions.

Requirements

A solid background in public health or a related field.
At least four years of relevant experience in surveillance, data systems, or technical program support.
Familiarity with tools like SORMAS, DHIS2, and IDSR.
Strong communication and clear thinking abilities.
Ability to work effectively across teams.

Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary range of approximately $13,000–$15,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves travel requirements across Nigeria.
