Overview
The United Nations is offering an internship opportunity in Human Resources Administration at its duty station in The Hague. This six-month internship provides hands-on experience in HR management, administrative support, and office operations within an international organization.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Filing System Redesign and Organization: Classify personnel files and documents, develop a File Page Index, reorganize records, identify incomplete files, manage office shelves, propose filing routines, and ensure consistent filing.
- Administrative Support to HR Team: Assist with recruitment and onboarding, draft correspondences, handle staff queries, compile data for reports, contribute to newsletters, organize meetings, take minutes, update intranet pages, and perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or graduated within the past two years.
- Preferred educational backgrounds: Business Administration, Information Science, Library & Documentation, Office Management, and Secretarial Studies.
- Excellent command of English or French; knowledge of the other language is an advantage.
