Overview
The Thought Leadership and Strategic Engagement Internship 2026 at UNICEF offers a unique opportunity for graduate students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in global development, policy, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop internal knowledge platforms, including supporting a journal or field-notes series capturing field insights.
- Assist with staff working papers and analytical publications.
- Help organize internal engagement initiatives such as learning sessions.
- Draft and manage LinkedIn content for leadership.
- Support internal and external newsletters.
- Explore digital platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp.
- Develop messaging materials and talking points.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate degree (within the past year).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management ability.
- Interest in global development, policy, or communications.
- Analytical thinking and research ability (desirable).
- Experience with digital platforms or content management (desirable).
- Ability to work in multicultural environments (desirable).
- Proficiency in English (additional UN languages are an advantage) (desirable).
