Applications are now open for the U.S. Department of the Treasury Fall 2026 Internship Program, an exceptional opportunity for students interested in public service, finance, economics, policy, and national security.
Hosted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and administered through USAJOBS, this internship offers current high school, undergraduate, and graduate students the chance to work directly with one of the most influential federal agencies in the United States.
Interns will gain practical experience supporting Treasury’s mission to promote economic prosperity and safeguard the financial security of the United States.
The Treasury Departmental Offices Internship Program provides substantive assignments related to students’ academic interests and career goals. Interns work alongside experienced professionals on projects involving finance, public policy, economics, law, information technology, and government operations.
The Fall 2026 internship begins in September 2026 and requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks.
