Overview

The UGO Fellowship Programme is a Pan-African leadership development initiative designed to identify and nurture the next generation of ethical, innovative, and impact-driven leaders within the green economy. It is implemented by the Universal Greening Organisation (UGO).

Eligibility

Must be a citizen of Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, or Zimbabwe.
Must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of application.
Must currently be enrolled in a tertiary institution.
Must be studying a course related to sustainability, environmental studies, or the green economy.
Must have achieved a minimum academic average of 60% in their most recent results.
Must have never travelled or flown outside their country of birth.
Must be willing and able to travel both within their home country and internationally.
Must have no criminal record.
Must be available for the full duration of the three-month programme.
Must demonstrate that they come from a previously disadvantaged background, supported by an affidavit or a letter from a traditional authority.
Must have access to a digital device (phone, tablet, or computer) and reliable internet connectivity for online participation.
