    Location: Global (including Bolivia, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, ASEAN Region, Latin America, Africa & India, UK & other countries)
    Closing Date: 4 June 2026
    Contract: Short-term consultancy / Assignment (1-5 days to 20+ days, depending on project)

    About UK PACT

    UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) is a capacity-building programme jointly governed and funded by the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).

    It supports partner countries high in emissions reduction potential to implement and enhance their climate ambitions aligned with the Paris Agreement.

    UK PACT fosters strategic partnerships, promotes knowledge sharing, and emphasizes gender equality, social inclusion, and disability inclusion (GEDSI).

    Role Overview

    UK PACT is expanding its global roster of Short-Term Technical Advisors (STTAs) to provide strategic and technical guidance across priority sectors and countries.

    Experts with experience in climate policy, green finance, energy transition, forests and land use, and related fields are encouraged to apply.

    The role involves offering technical advice, conducting sector analysis, engaging with stakeholders, supporting monitoring and evaluation, and reviewing project outputs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing technical advice during project implementation and reviewing deliverables
    • Conducting sector analysis to identify barriers and opportunities
    • Supporting engagement with government and stakeholder meetings

    • Offering strategic guidance to implementing partners
    • Contributing to monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge sharing activities
    • Reviewing reports, tools, and policy recommendations
    • Supporting project delivery, risk identification, and mitigation
