The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is an excellence-based award for outstanding international students from non-EU/EEA countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. The scholarship aims to attract talented students demonstrating strong academic performance and leadership potential.
The UTS provides financial support for study-related expenses, ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 per year. Funds are given to students to allocate towards tuition fees, living expenses, study materials, or accommodation. For two-year Master's programmes, students may receive a second-year scholarship if academic performance conditions are met. Additionally, some applicants may be considered for the Kipaji Scholarship.
1. Apply for a Master’s degree at the University of Twente and obtain a conditional admission letter.
2. Once admitted, submit a scholarship application using your student number.
There are two application rounds for programmes starting in September 2026:
Round 1: Deadline is 1 February 2026.
Round 2: Deadline is 1 May 2026.
