    Partnerships & Grants Coordinator – Basiqat Charity Foundation (Kano, Nigeria)

    Basiqat Charity Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities across Nigeria, is currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the role of Partnerships & Grants Coordinator. The Foundation focuses on impactful interventions in education, healthcare support, economic empowerment, and sustainable development, working closely with partners and volunteers to drive meaningful change.

    Job Summary

    The Partnerships & Grants Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Foundation’s programs, partnerships, and funding initiatives. The role requires a proactive, organized, and results-driven professional who will manage fundraising platforms such as GlobalGiving, identify and apply for grants and partnership opportunities, and support program implementation, reporting, and documentation. The successful candidate will also coordinate monthly community initiatives and ensure proper tracking of project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and regularly update the Foundation’s profiles, projects, and reports on GlobalGiving and similar platforms.
    • Identify and apply for local and international grants, competitions, awards, and partnership opportunities.
    • Track application deadlines, submissions, and follow-up actions.
    • Support efforts to improve GlobalGiving rankings, rewards, and overall organizational visibility.
    • Develop high-quality project proposals, reports, impact stories, presentations, and official correspondence.
    • Liaise with government institutions, NGOs, corporate organizations, donors, and partners.
    • Coordinate planning and implementation of monthly community outreach programs.
    • Collect and manage beneficiary data, attendance records, photos, testimonials, and project evidence.
    • Maintain well-organized databases, documentation, and reporting systems.
    • Follow up with partners, volunteers, beneficiaries, and service providers.
    • Perform additional program and partnership-related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Project Management, Development Studies, Public Relations, Social Sciences, International Relations, or a related field.
    • Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Excellent proposal writing, reporting, research, and data management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
    • Willingness to participate in fieldwork and community-based programs.
    • Experience in NGO, fundraising, partnerships, or grants management is an advantage.
    • Familiarity with GlobalGiving or similar fundraising platforms is an added advantage.

    Core Skills

    Grant writing, proposal development, report writing, partnership building, program coordination, stakeholder engagement, research and data management, community engagement, time management, and attention to detail.

    Remuneration

    Salary ranges between ₦100,000 – ₦200,000 monthly, depending on qualifications and experience.
