VFD Group Plc is currently inviting applications for its prestigious Future Leaders Programme (FLP), a flagship early-career initiative designed to groom the next generation of business leaders within its dynamic ecosystem. The programme spans 18 months and offers participants hands-on experience across carefully structured career tracks. Unlike traditional graduate programmes, VFD seeks individuals described as “Builders” — young professionals who demonstrate curiosity, take initiative, solve problems creatively, and execute with excellence. These individuals are expected to embrace ownership, think innovatively, and identify opportunities in challenging situations.

Successful candidates will select from three strategic career tracks based on their interests and strengths. The Investment & Capital Markets track is ideal for those passionate about finance, offering exposure to asset management, treasury, corporate finance, and investment management. The Operating Businesses track focuses on business growth and operational excellence, covering areas such as marketing, human resources, sales, and operations. Meanwhile, the Corporate & Strategy track provides experience in group strategy, finance, risk and compliance, as well as technology and product management.

Throughout the programme, participants will work on real business challenges, rotate across functions, and receive mentorship from senior executives. They will also lead strategic projects with measurable impact, build strong commercial acumen, and collaborate with high-performing teams across the VFD Group. To be eligible, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or its equivalent, must have completed the NYSC programme, and should have no more than two years of post-graduate work experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong academic performance, leadership potential, adaptability, and a passion for solving complex business problems in fast-paced environments.
