What Cannot Be Funded?

The Workday Foundation will not fund:

• Fully virtual or online projects
• Capital construction or building renovations
• General organizational operating expenses
• Political campaigns or lobbying
• Religious conversion activities
• Projects focused solely on service delivery without intentional relationship-building
• Closed membership clubs
• Commercial or for-profit activities

The emphasis remains firmly on building stronger community relationships through shared, inclusive experiences.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete online application that includes:

• Organization background and mission
• Description of the proposed project
• Clear hypothesis explaining how the project will strengthen human connection
• Budget
• Measurement and evaluation plan
• Proposed participant survey questions measuring connection and belonging

Organizations are encouraged to prepare their responses offline before completing the online application.

Reporting Requirements

Successful grantees will submit a short report within 60 days after project completion.
