The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) 2027 is a prestigious, paid international opportunity designed for talented young professionals (aged 32 or under by 1 January 2027) seeking hands-on experience in global trade and policy.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly within the WTO Secretariat in Geneva.
Contribute to real-world trade issues while building expertise in the multilateral trading system.
Express interest in up to three areas of WTO work for assignment.

Requirements

Advanced degree in relevant fields such as economics, international relations, or law.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
General knowledge of the work of the WTO and demonstrated interest in international trade.
Ability to draft documents in English; drafting in French or Spanish is advantageous.

Benefits

Salary of CHF 4,000 per month.
