Overview
UAF-Africa is offering three remote roles focused on human rights, gender equality, and social justice, providing a chance to contribute to impactful work supporting women human rights defenders across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Consultancy: Design and implement frameworks for assessing program effectiveness, develop monitoring tools, evaluate ongoing projects, and document lessons learned.
- Sustaining Defenders Programme Assistant (Francophone): Coordinate activities related to the Sustaining Defenders Programme, provide administrative support, communicate with partners, and maintain program records.
- Sustaining Defenders Programme Intern (Francophone): Support program delivery through research, documentation, communications, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- MEAL Consultancy: Strong experience in monitoring and evaluation within the nonprofit or development sector, analytical thinking, and data interpretation skills.
- Programme Assistant: Experience in project coordination or program support within NGOs, fluency in French, and strong organizational skills.
- Programme Intern: Recent graduates or students in international development or related fields, with enthusiasm and fluency in French.
