Account Manager @WorkOS

Overview

WorkOS is seeking an Account Manager to drive the expansion of complex accounts, deepening product adoption and generating revenue growth. The company specializes in developer tools and APIs that help organizations securely scale their products to enterprise levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a book of strategic accounts, focusing on retention, renewal, and expansion.
• Build and execute account growth plans, identifying unadopted products and teams.
• Proactively surface expansion opportunities by understanding customers’ product roadmaps.
• Lead commercial conversations independently, from opportunity through close.
• Drive adoption of the WorkOS platform across various teams and products.
• Partner with Sales, Support, and Engineering to remove technical blockers.
• Run executive business reviews connecting usage to customer outcomes.
• Forecast accurately and maintain pipeline hygiene.
• Provide structured feedback to Product regarding customer needs and obstacles.
• Assist in building playbooks and processes for scalable growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years in account management, customer success, or sales at the enterprise level.
• Proven track record of account growth and retention.
• Strong understanding of product and technical customer solutions.
• Proficiency in leading integration and architecture discussions.
• Familiarity with APIs and SQL.
• Ability to manage relationships across various organizational levels.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
