Act Change Transform (Act!) has announced an opportunity for an experienced Knowledge Management and Communications Officer to join its programmes team in Nairobi, Kenya. The position is designed for a professional with strong expertise in knowledge management, organisational learning, communications, stakeholder engagement and the development of knowledge products.

The successful candidate will report to the Platform Manager – Democracy Governance & Human Rights (DGHR) and will work closely with Act!’s programmes and technical teams.

The Knowledge Management and Communications Officer will be responsible for managing knowledge and communication resources across Act!’s programmes and projects, including consultancies and long-term grants.
The position will play an important role in ensuring that programme knowledge is effectively captured, documented, shared and transformed into useful resources for internal and external audiences.
The successful candidate will also maintain relationships with important stakeholders, including donor agencies, government institutions and private-sector partners.

Act! is seeking an experienced candidate with at least five years of experience in knowledge management and organisational learning.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical achievements in areas such as knowledge product development and strengthening organisational knowledge management systems.
The role requires a professional capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outputs within established deadlines.
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytical, critical-thinking and synthesis abilities, particularly the capacity to transform programme information and data into useful knowledge products.
