AYDF is currently recruiting 14 EPWP Area Coordinators to support the implementation of the Ke Moja Programme, a nationally recognised substance abuse prevention and awareness initiative.

About the Role

The EPWP Area Coordinator will coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Ke Moja Programme within allocated communities.

The incumbent will work closely with schools, implementing partners, community organisations and stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are achieved while promoting AYDF’s vision.

The role requires strong organisational, reporting and stakeholder management skills together with experience in community-based programme implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Coordinate implementation of the Ke Moja Programme.
• Monitor programme delivery within assigned communities.
• Support and supervise participating NPOs.
• Conduct regular site visits.

• Monitor programme performance.
• Compile monthly reports and programme statistics.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships.

• Attend meetings and provide programme updates.
• Identify implementation challenges.
• Recommend practical solutions.
• Support community awareness activities.

Minimum Requirements

Education	Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience	Community development, youth programmes or project coordination
Essential Experience	Previous Ke Moja Programme experience
Knowledge	Substance abuse prevention programmes and community interventions
Reporting Skills	Strong report writing and administration
Communication	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Independence	Able to work independently and under pressure
Availability	Willing to work weekends when required
Facilitation	Able to facilitate meetings, workshops and training
Driver’s Licence	Valid Driver’s Licence with PDP
