Overview
The AHA Centre invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Project Officer. This full-time role focuses on supporting disaster management and emergency response initiatives across ASEAN member states.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to project activities.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings related to project implementation.
- Lead the development of publications and promotional materials in coordination with the Communications team.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Contribute to emergency response operations as required.
- Uphold organizational rules, policies, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Project Management, International Development, Social Science, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of five years in project management or capacity development programs.
- Exposure to disaster management and emergency response within governmental or international organisations.
- Experience in managing multi-stakeholder activities and training programs in disaster management.
- Knowledge of ASEAN frameworks, such as the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
