Overview

The AHA Centre invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Project Officer. This full-time role focuses on supporting disaster management and emergency response initiatives across ASEAN member states.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support to project activities.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings related to project implementation.
Lead the development of publications and promotional materials in coordination with the Communications team.
Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Contribute to emergency response operations as required.
Uphold organizational rules, policies, and professional standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Project Management, International Development, Social Science, Public Administration, or related fields.
Minimum of five years in project management or capacity development programs.
Exposure to disaster management and emergency response within governmental or international organisations.
Experience in managing multi-stakeholder activities and training programs in disaster management.
Knowledge of ASEAN frameworks, such as the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), is advantageous.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
