Overview

Braze is seeking an AI Decisioning Technical Lead to fill a strategic role within their Japan team. This multifaceted position combines sales support and post-sales duties for AI Decisioning, ensuring customers understand and maximize their AI investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Responsibilities:
  • Visionary Pitching: Partner with the Sales Team to present and demo AI Decisioning capabilities to C-level executives.
  • Value Discovery: Conduct discovery workshops to identify AI Decisioning use cases.
  • AI Academy: Lead educational sessions on AI trends in marketing.
  • Customer Readiness Assessment: Assist the sales team in identifying program risks before deals are signed.
• Post-Sales Responsibilities:
  • Adoption & Optimization: Serve as an AI Success Manager for high-value clients.
  • Experimentation Design: Ensure technical setup aligns with business goals.
  • Business Reviews: Analyze campaign performance data and deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Bridge communication between clients and global teams for AI/ML issues.
  • Data Architecture & Integration: Collaborate with client data teams for data pipeline management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and AI data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts.
• Deep knowledge of modern data stack and marketing ecosystem.
• Native/Fluent Japanese and Business-level English.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
