Overview
The role involves hiring Field Engineers focused on Healthcare and SLED (State, Local, and Education) to partner with prospective and strategic enterprise customers. As a Field Engineer, you will be the technical face of Anysphere, helping customers evaluate Cursor and ensuring they see the full value of AI in their engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AEs to own technical discovery, demos, POCs, and technical validation for new deals and expansion.
- Build trusted relationships across engineering, security, product, and IT stakeholders.
- Go deep in mission-critical and high-security environments, focusing on developer workflows, AI tooling, and complex setups.
- Help customers connect Cursor to outcomes that matter, such as developer productivity and secure software delivery.
- Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops for technical and executive audiences.
- Act as the customer's technical advocate internally with Product and Engineering.
- Partner with post-sales to ensure a smooth handoff and successful onboarding.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and executive presence; comfortable developing alongside engineers or presenting to C-level executives.
- Understanding of the SDLC and ability to connect technical details to operational impact.
- Hands-on technical fluency in workflows, AI tooling, and complex environments.
- Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting, ideally in federal, defense, or highly regulated tech.
- Interest in Healthcare & SLED and ability to quickly learn about buying motions and security expectations.
