AI Enablement Engineer @Coder

Overview

Coder is looking for an AI Enablement Engineer to assist in executing their Smart AI roadmap, making AI and vibe coding more accessible across the company. The role involves working directly with employees to understand their needs, answering questions about Smart AI best practices, and removing barriers to process and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on technical partner for employees using Smart AI, providing best practice guidance and resolving blockers.
• Meet with employees to assess their needs, workflows, and challenges in AI projects.
• Provide answers to questions regarding Smart AI tools and practices through various communication channels.
• Identify common needs within the AI community and articulate them for the Smart AI roadmap.
• Execute the Smart AI roadmap by refining reusable journeys, skills, templates, and instructions.
• Contribute to internal infrastructure improvements for AI development.
• Engage directly in building solutions alongside users, utilizing AI-assisted development tools.
• Enhance the development environment for vibe coding, integrating necessary APIs and models.
• Transform unique queries into reusable practices for future employees.
• Collaborate with the Smart AI Program lead to align employee feedback with roadmap priorities.
• Facilitate office hours, workshops, and sessions to build employee confidence and AI skills.
• Create documentation and examples for Smart AI capabilities as new tools and practices emerge.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technology, ideally in a startup.
• An engineering background or relevant hands-on experience with tools like Claude Code.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies independently.
• Empathy for users, especially beginners with advanced technology.
• Skill in identifying user roadblocks and providing practical solutions.
• A proactive mindset focused on improvement and automation.
• Strong pattern recognition skills to turn user feedback into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to adapt explanations for varied technical abilities.
• Judgment to differentiate between isolated issues and systemic problems.
