AmpiFire is seeking an experienced AI Content Editor to join its dynamic, fully remote team. This role focuses on refining and elevating AI-assisted content through the company's proprietary platform, ensuring quality, accuracy, and SEO optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and improve AI-generated and human-written content across various formats (articles, blog posts, slideshows, infographics, podcasts, video scripts).
- Address AI-specific issues like repetition, factual inconsistencies, tone mismatches, and formatting errors.
- Apply SEO best practices, including headline optimization and keyword placement.
- Review and edit visual content to complement written material.
- Conduct fact-checks to verify claims, sources, and statistics.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to enhance content quality.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional editing experience (3+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to edit AI-generated drafts to a publication-ready standard.
- Strong editorial judgment and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience following diverse guidelines (client-specific and internal).
- Solid understanding of SEO principles for content creation.
- Effective written communication skills for providing feedback.
