Overview

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking candidates for a Data Entry Operator position in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. This role involves managing medical data entry into the MSF database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Enter patient and medical data into MSF databases.
Update existing patient files and correct discrepancies.
Compile data from MSF facilities and partner health centers.
Search for missing data and ensure database completeness.
Perform regular backups of data.
Maintain and organize data entry equipment and workspace.
Generate statistical reports as required.
Ensure confidentiality of all recorded information.
Encode data from IDP camps, iCCM sites, and seasonal activities.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Experience: Knowledge of DHIS2 is an advantage.
Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and able to learn MSF data software (DHIS2, Fuchia, EpiInfo, etc.).
Languages: Local language essential; mission language desirable.
