Overview

The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge 2026 is a global competition supporting startups with innovative solutions for agri-food systems and climate sustainability. Organized by THRIVE Agrifood and SVG Ventures, it aims to connect entrepreneurs with investors and partners to scale impactful technologies.

Eligibility

Early-stage startups and entrepreneurs from around the world are eligible. Applicants should be developing solutions for critical challenges in agriculture and food systems, typically in areas such as:

• Regenerative agriculture and soil health
• Artificial intelligence and automation in agriculture
• Water and waste management solutions
• Clean energy and climate technologies
• Animal health and nutrition
• Post-harvest technologies and food innovation

Companies at the seed to Series A stage with a prototype, early product, or initial market traction are encouraged to apply. Global participation is welcome.

Benefits

Selected startups will gain visibility, mentorship, and access to investors. Benefits include:

How to Apply

Submit an online application detailing your innovation, impact potential, and scalability. Following application review, selected companies may be invited to Virtual Pitch Day. Finalists will compete live at the Global Impact Summit. Carefully review eligibility criteria and prepare information on your technology, market potential, and measurable impact.
