    Overview

    The UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship in Archaeology and Conservation 2026–2027 is accepting applications for a scholarship program aimed at strengthening human resource capacities and fostering international understanding.

    Eligibility

    • Nationals of invited member states (e.g., Algeria, Bolivia, Cameroon, Cuba, Egypt, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Mongolia, South Africa, Sudan, Ukraine, etc.)
    • B.A. or M.A. degree in Archaeology or Conservation
    • Proficient in English
    • No older than 40 years of age

    Benefits

    • Free tuition and access to university facilities
    • Monthly allowance: PLN 2,200 for M.A. holders and PLN 1,800 for B.A. holders
    • One-time cultural/activities allowance: PLN 2,200 (M.A.) or PLN 1,800 (B.A.) upon arrival
    • Coverage of international travel expenses
    • Health insurance during the fellowship period
    • One-time pocket allowance of US$120

    How to Apply

    • Review Annex I (Terms and Conditions) and Annex III (Study Programme).
    • Contact the National Commission for UNESCO in your country.
    • Complete the UNESCO fellowship application form (Annex II) with required documents.
    • Submit your application to your National Commission for UNESCO.
    • Once endorsed, submit your application via email to archaeology.poland@unesco.org by the deadline.
