Overview
The UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship in Archaeology and Conservation 2026–2027 is accepting applications for a scholarship program aimed at strengthening human resource capacities and fostering international understanding.
Eligibility
- Nationals of invited member states (e.g., Algeria, Bolivia, Cameroon, Cuba, Egypt, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Mongolia, South Africa, Sudan, Ukraine, etc.)
- B.A. or M.A. degree in Archaeology or Conservation
- Proficient in English
- No older than 40 years of age
Benefits
- Free tuition and access to university facilities
- Monthly allowance: PLN 2,200 for M.A. holders and PLN 1,800 for B.A. holders
- One-time cultural/activities allowance: PLN 2,200 (M.A.) or PLN 1,800 (B.A.) upon arrival
- Coverage of international travel expenses
- Health insurance during the fellowship period
- One-time pocket allowance of US$120
How to Apply
- Review Annex I (Terms and Conditions) and Annex III (Study Programme).
- Contact the National Commission for UNESCO in your country.
- Complete the UNESCO fellowship application form (Annex II) with required documents.
- Submit your application to your National Commission for UNESCO.
- Once endorsed, submit your application via email to archaeology.poland@unesco.org by the deadline.
