Overview

The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) is inviting applications for its Youth Fellowship on Leadership for Peace and Sustainability. This intensive fellowship will take place in South Korea from 25 June to 4 July 2026, aimed at empowering young leaders with the necessary skills to foster peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable societies.

Eligibility

Be under 30 years of age on the starting date of the fellowship.
Be an Indian citizen residing in India.
Have completed an undergraduate degree prior to the fellowship’s commencement.
Youth from all genders, social, economic, and cultural backgrounds, including people with disabilities, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Be available to attend the fellowship in person in South Korea.
Demonstrate proficiency in English.
