Overview
Are you an experienced researcher or writer passionate about climate adaptation and social impact? The Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) is hiring 1–2 Researchers/Writers to lead global storytelling and research on climate resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global storytelling and research on climate resilience.
- Produce high-quality, evidence-based narratives for the JUST Stories project.
- Influence decision-makers across government, finance, and civil society.
- Combine research, storytelling, and policy engagement.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in research, writing, or related fields.
- Strong expertise in climate adaptation and resilience, particularly community-led approaches.
- Experience in qualitative research, interviews, and long-form writing.
- Familiarity with UN climate adaptation or resilience frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and storytelling skills.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or vulnerable populations is desirable.
- Background in journalism, development studies, anthropology, or human rights is a plus.
- Knowledge of climate finance, policy, or philanthropy sectors is advantageous.
- Additional language skills relevant to project regions are a plus.
